Our Oak Fit class is a high-intensity power yoga class. Oak Fit classes incorporate bodyweight exercises into a yoga flow at an accelerated pace. Each class is focused on strengthening, toning, flexibility, and mindfulness. Work out your body and mind through a sweaty, vigorous flow. Classes will have added heat.
SLOW FLOW: Where accessible yoga postures meet breath and fluid movement. This well-rounded practice uses a slower pace, so new students can explore individual postures while building confidence and familiarity. More experienced students can take advantage of the slower pace to refine fundamentals of alignment and explore deeper sensations. Enjoy modification options within each guided posture so you can customize your class experience.
VINYASA FLOW: This mixed level yoga practice connects dynamic movement and breath. Each class begins with warm-up movements designed to build heat throughout the body. As class progresses, you can expect creative sequences and intelligent transitions that focus on preparing your body for peak posture. Enjoy a relaxing savasana at the end of practice.
Note: Class is heated to about 77 degrees.
BASICS FLOW: Basic Flow classes are yoga classes designed to learn the foundations of yoga (fantastic for beginners!) or just get back to basics for even an advanced student. Flow through a gentle, slower paced class focusing on alignment and how each pose feels in the body.
RELAX & RESTORE FLOW: The perfect class to allow you to unwind! Use props in this gentle, slower paced class focused on giving you time and space to relax and stretch and restore the body.
Oak Sculpt flow classes combines the mindfulness of yoga with the added intensity of weights. In this vigorous 60-minute class, you will incorporate dumbbells to strengthen muscles as you lengthen the body. These classes are typically heated to 80-85 degrees. Leave your shoes at the door! But be sure to bring plenty of water and a towel!
